Why not keep track of your year now while it’s happening? A concept for most of us I know!
However I found a great year in review 8x8 album download from Jessica Sprague. Each Friday she has an email that goes out with Photoshop tips. You can find her at www.spraguelab.squarespaces.com or Google Sprague Lab.
You can read through and find past tips and hints as well as projects. I found this great little album on her February 8, 2008 post. You can download it directly from her site.
Once you download the file and unzip it there are 12 templates and a cover page. These work just like any other template that we’ve looked at in the past.

I completed January – March 2008 in just a short ˝ hours time. I also then printed each of the 3 months plus the cover page. (the year on the cover I edited the year layer with the text tool and made it say 2008)
After each pages was trimmed to the 8x8 size I then slipped them into a black 8x8 Album from SEI Preservations Series. These are my FAVORITE little albums. They are inexpensive, you can easily dress them and they are fairly sturdy. I always keep a stash of these on hand!
I hope you enjoy this quick project. It’s such a great way to pull together your favorite monthly photos for the year. In addition it could be your head start to some great Christmas gifts, so think ahead to who would appreciate a great little album.
