Special Guest Designer...Cyndi Evans!![]() A little about me...I have been stamping since October 1992. My father is an architect and I really think a lot of my ideas about color come from him. I have always been interested in art in some form. I used to do counted crosstitch, needlepoint, hook rugs and embroidery. Now rubber stamping and making a mess with inks and paint is my favorite thing to do. I also love using watercolor crayons and pencils. On a more personal note, I have been married for 26 years. Our family consists of two young adults, 22 and 19 as well as three dogs and one cat. To support my stamping hobby I work fulltime at Wal-Mart in the Jewelry dept. We are transplants from California and now live in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Polymer Clay Eyelet Tool Holder I started making this tool holder by learning to do clay techniques that are in the book The Art of Polymer Clay by Donna Kato last year. I did the cane technique with red and black polymer clays. I cut out thin canes and put them on a candle votive. I baked it in a toaster oven for 20 minutes. Then I took a junk mail CD and decorated it with Tim Holtz’s alcohol inks (red and yellow) with the Polished Stone technique. Then I took a purple Staz On inkpad and stamped little flowers all over the CD. After the clay votive was cooled I used a hot glue gun and I attached the votive to the decorated CD. ![]() ![]() ![]() This entire web site © Copyright Reflections Publishing Group, LLC Legal Statement ***Disclaimers - While individual techniques may vary, always follow product manufacturers' directions and cautions for safety and best results. |
