Before and After—Scrapping Pics of the Same Thing at Different Times

Different seasons are always fun, and photos of kids with the same props year after year (or month after month) are great for seeing how fast they grow and how they change. Simple pics of a room before and after painting or a house during the construction phases and after completion are great to have also. Scrapping these photos can be exciting—you get to relive the magic of the changes all over again!
While flipping through some pics on my hard drive, as I was backing up my files the other day, I came across some cute pics of my daughter on Valentine’s Day two years ago. Of course, we had just taken some very similar ones this year! So, naturally, I had to scrap them together!!!
I’m due with baby number two at the end of this month and have been taking belly pics throughout my pregnancy. Surprisingly I’ve even been keeping up with scrapping them!! Here’s a layout showing the progression of baby’s growth (and mine too).
We bought a new house a few months back and got to watch (through email photos) the last part of construction. The photos our realtor sent were a bit on the small side but because there were so many, they don’t look "too small" on the layouts.
Of course, after moving to our new area, we got to see the real thing. The pictures we had seen did it no justice---it was WAY better than they made it look (and I thought it looked pretty darn good in the pics!)!
Now, we’ve added our own touches and the house is slowly looking more and more our style (unpacking this time has been a very slow process). We painted some of the rooms and added blinds to the windows (talk about an expensive trip to Home Depot!).
If you don’t have any before and after shots to scrap, why not go take some today, and go back in a month and take the same shots? You can take pics of your kids, your pets, the flowers or trees as they start to bloom or your house/lot in all four seasons.
