Sugarplum Paperie—a fun and inspiring site to see!

Sugarplum Paperie sponsored a template challenge on a website that I visit occasionally, so I entered the contest with no expectations at all (in fact, it was my first ever contest there). I entered with this layout, made from a template that they were giving away, and won a gift certificate to her wonderful store!
Now, after I picked myself up off the floor—because I never win anything—I headed over to check out her site. I’d never heard of Sugarplum Paperie, but I was fascinated with their designs immediately! Nicole has a style that is so in line with what I like that it’s scary. I couldn’t have found a more perfect store to win a gift certificate from had I tried!
After “purchasing” a few kits with my gift certificate, I headed to her freebies page. WOW...can I just say fun stuff?! I gathered a few extras there, and headed off to play. I started by creating a couple cards that I needed to get done. This anniversary card was made with the Classical Melody freebie. The simple, yet sophisticated background came together quickly with a few embellishments and some text!
To create this invitation, I mixed and matched a couple pieces from various kits. I used the rik rak and flowers from the Classical Melody freebie, a piece of note paper from the Sweet as Sugar Mini Kit freebie, and the background came from the Strawberry Café paper pack. Then I added some text, printed them on 4” x 6” photo paper, and sent them to our local MOMS Club members!
Creating layouts from Sugarplum Paperie’s kits was fun and easy to do. Each kit has several backgrounds, many elements that coordinate, and many of the kits coordinate well with each other, making it easy to mix and match them for the perfect combinations! Here are some layouts I created using Nicole’s kits:
I’ve just discovered some new kits at Sugarplum Paperie, so I think I’m off to drop a few dollars and create a few more pages!
