Faux Stained Glass

While browsing my favorite scrapbooking store, I ran across these great new foil stickers. What I liked best about them is that they are very detailed and delicate looking, almost like stained glass.
For this first project, I just peeled off one of the flower stickers from the flower sheet and attached it to a piece of white cardstock (they look best on white so the colors are vibrant). I then colored them in with my Tombow markers. It makes a great springtime card.
For this next card, I chose the Happy Birthday sticker. Again I colored it in, but this time with my Soufflé pens and just matted it on some black and lime green cardstock to make a quick and easy card.
For this butterfly card, I decided to experiment a little. I wanted to give the appearance that the butterfly was flying. For this technique you need two identical stickers.
So next time you’re out shopping, pick up a sheet of these great stickers. You’ll have a blast playing with them!
See you next time.
