January 2005 Design ChallengeSponsored by Caputo's Kits
This month's challenge has been so exciting for us. Jen Caputo sent each one of us an album kit. Some have altered the kit and others have made it by the directions provided with the kits. None of them are alike; I think you will really enjoy them. Small albums are so very popular. Caputo's Kit's come in five different sizes - perfect for everyone.
Jen started her business when she was making a scrapbook for a gift. She wanted something very special. Jen knew there were many album kits on the market but she wanted something unique. After picking up some matte board she started experimenting and when it was finished, she showed it to different Yahoo Groups and they all wanted the material to make one. It wasn't long till Jen knew it was clear this would be a fun side business. Soon after she met Joe, who now supplies the Ganes Brothers coverboards. The store opened with 5 sizes of Post Bound Album kits. Soon after the Envelope Album kit arrived. The newest model is very popular as it is an ATC album kit. It is the best way to store all the trading cards you have been collecting.
Jen also carries other bookmaking kits made by other companies, and all the supplies you need to complete your album.
Jen's has a degree in computer engineer. She works at Motorola and designs website on the side. Currently she is helping friends start a business. After seeing the different styles of each album I am sure you will be excited to make one for yourself. You can get the kits at http://www.jencaputo.com Don't forget to post pictures of your albums. We all look forward to seeing them. Snow Davidson snowdavidson@ssreflections.com S.S. Reflections, Inc. This entire web site © Copyright S.S. Reflections, Inc.
