There is so much to say about the Gulf of Mexico from the beautiful blue waters to all the coastal towns we can visit, Naples, Biloxi, New Orleans, Galveston, Corpus Christi, and then south of the Tropic of Cancer to Veracruz and finally...Cancun. We are going to spend the next month, shopping, fishing, playing in the water and of course playing with our stampbooking supplies! We have an absolutely fabulous February issue to inspire you and for the icing on the cake its Valentine's Day this month! Just take a look inside these pages and see all the eye candy we have for you!
Now would be a great time to join our Yahoo! Ezine Group and be part of all the fun. We have Wednesday tip day, COMMS on Monday that anyone can participate in, lots of fun with the Caption Contest and a great time encouraging each other with our art. If Yahoo! Groups aren't your thing, we also have our message board and the interactive Reader's Gallery! You can also join our myspace group if you prefer myspace! This group is still new and just getting off the ground but we'd love to have help getting things moving! Be sure to say hi to Chell!
The goal of S.S. Reflections has always been to make the world just a little bit smaller and that you can enjoy (virtually) visiting as many parts of the World as we can! Please be sure to share your own inspirations with all of us and we have made this even easier for you with our brand new interactive Readers Photo Gallery! If you are having trouble uploading to the photo gallery please feel free to email Diana at dianascott@ssreflections.com as she is our officer in charge! I know several of you have written to me, but I'm clueless on some of these issues! Diana is our resident expert and I'm sure she can help you!
We hope that you are taking advantage of our program to actually purchase the designs created by our amazing designers! All you need to do is click on the thumbnail of your favorite design, and if it is for sale it will be listed at the bottom of the supply list. You can email the crewmember directly for information about purchasing the design featured! Shipping and handling are not included in the price of the design. Insurance is required on all sales. This beautiful Valentine's Day card was created by Becky Chabot and it can be all yours!

Our Designer’s Challenge this month has been sponsored by Spellbinders! You may remember Stacey Caron was a guest Celebrity Headliner in January 2006 and now we get the opportunity to share some ideas we have with the Spellbinders die cuts with you! Spellbinders created traditional dies for use in the Wizard die-cutting machine, using Yvonne’s (yes, that is OUR Yvonne) designs, so that crafters could merge the digital designs with the paper die cuts. The design to the right was created by Dyan Cross!

Jill has created some awesome designs to share with you! Stacie is enjoying the music. There is a calm peace about Stacie as she creates her designs for her family and for you. Now on to the Stamping Art Deck! Debi's Our cruise to the Gulf of Mexico has inspired Debi to challenge our way of thinking of color! Debi is always inspiring us with not only her beautiful designs but just the way she writes. The clipboard to the right is one of Debi's creations! Flo is reminding us of all that we celebrate in February, Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday and of course Valentine's Day! All of which bring out the light...candles! See what Flo is inspiring us with this month! Judy's book review this month is "Inking" by Carol Heppner, which is published by Sterling Publishing. Judy has such a way of bringing this books she reviews alive for us. I don't know about you but my idea book collection is expanding! Then, to see what Judy creates using these books is just so inspiring!! (theres that word again!)
Now on to the Altered Arts Deck! Cindy was going to take a "break" this month but as you'll see she didn't. Not only is Cindy doing the Caption Contest now she has created a very special Valentine just for you! Michaela is celebrating everything there is to being a woman in love celebrating Valentine's Day. But, its not all about being in love, its about friendship and to a woman friendship is the key to life! Michaela has done a fabulous job reminding us of what we truly celebrate this month! After a month off Robin has come back from a month off with a vengence! The fairy jars she has created are just fabulous! Just take a look at the jar to the right! Sue has created some fantastic Valentine's and a card holder just for you! We all wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day!
Our Interactive Reader's Gallery! is not just for showcasing your scanned images, its also for your photos and your digital layouts! We want to see everything that you are proud of! So, come on in and share what you are most proud of! We all want to see! The Valentine's Tag featured to the right was created by Artlover! So, don't be shy...share your ideas with us!! You just never know what we'll feature next or who we'll ask to be a guest designer on SSR!! IT COULD BE YOU!!! The photo gallery is so much fun and filled with fantastic designs...stamped art, digital layouts and scrapped layouts not to mention the photo gallery! You can upload all the designs that you want to share with us ANYTIME you'd like! We have an opportunity to make comments and talk about the products you used and the techniques! You'll want to definitely add this to your favorites and come back often!
February is more than just celebrating Valentine's Day but we've had a lot of fun creating for it! I hope you enjoy what the crew has created and remember that as we celebrate love with our significant other we also celebrate the love and friendship of true girlfriends and the special gift they bring to our lives. Never take it for granted as it will fade away and that would be very sad indeed.
