When we launched the good ship S.S.Reflections in 2003 by whacking her with a stamped scrapbook of Queen Mary photos because we couldn’t afford champagne (just kidding), we wanted someone well known to help us launch her successfully. I called Dee Gruenig from my kitchen and she graciously and enthusiastically agreed. How could she refuse? Her dad was career navy! It’s been 4 years of fun now and each November we bring Dee back as our only annual VIP.
This issue we are sailing into The Netherlands, and darn it, of course Dee has been there before us as she has been nearly everywhere. Here’s some proof. We should make her our Dutch guide.

Today Dee is working with Sunday International, maker of the EZ Mount system of unmounted rubber stamping that continues its popularity and use. Sales are way up with Sunday. She works with them under license. A Stamp in the Hand, mighty Magenta, that the Gruenigs consider the Neiman Marcus of stamping and recently Tim Holtz and Michael Strong have put their designs into the EZ Mount system under the same or proprietary name. Dee and Sunday are leading the way.
Something exciting for Dee is her coming Sept. 12-19 2008 stamping cruise to Alaska. DIY host and card genius Sandi Genovese and Cheryl Darrow, creator and owner of Ten Seconds Studio are teaching with her. All three are teaching new ways to make cards differently. They’d love for you to join them even though it will be an upscale Celebrity Cruise Lines ship and not the up-UP scale S.S. Reflections.
