S.S. Reflections Scrapping and StampingCindy C contest

I tell ya this one should bring on some fun comments! I have been planning on using this guy for quite awhile. Just why does he have his hand in his coat? What’s he thinking? Ok, all you clever readers, let’s hear what you think the saying should be this time! ?

Here are the particulars.

  1. Each month a new picture will be posted. You simply name the caption.
  2. The contest is open to members of our yahoo group only.
  3. SSReflections Crew members are excluded from the contest.
  4. You may enter as many times as you like. If duplicate captions are received, I will accept the first one that I received.
  5. All entries must be sent to our yahoo group (you can join here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SSReflectionsezine/ and carbon copied to Jill Wenzel at: jillwenzel@ssreflections.com
  6. Entries must be received no later than the 15th of that month so we have time to conduct a poll.
  7. You MUST put "caption contest" in the subject line.
At the end of the contest I will choose my favorite top 10 and a poll will be set up at the ezine for votes. The winner will receive a duplicate stamp or other item that was used in the project as donated by that month's sponsor.

By playing, you are granting approval for your name to appear in the following months contest at SSReflections. I would also like to mention where you are from. I will contact you via your email addy to let you know you have won and to get your address for shipment of your prize. If for some reason I cannot reach you by your email address then it will be up to the winner to contact me with their information and I will confirm via the yahoo group mail.

April brought some fabulous sayings! You all never cease to amaze me and make me laugh. Thank you for that! Putting on the Ritz (known on line as Stamping on the Ritz) offered up two very fun stamps for this one. Here are some of the captions given:

  • "The purpose of life is to discover your gift. I think I just discovered mine.
  • "He's cute, but I hear he's from the wrong side of the tracks"
  • "Okay, now that we have his attention which one of us gets him?"

Here is the picture from April

The winning caption was:

I got him off ebay. What do you think?
by Marilyn Pfeifer!

(Please click on the picture for instructions as to how this card was made.)

Don't forget to send your captions to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SSReflectionsezine/ and carbon copy Jill at: jillwenzel@ssreflections.com. YOU MUST put "caption contest" in the subject line so as not to be missed. All entries must be received by the 15th of the month.

Now, I must say good bye for awhile. My new business and family matters have me very busy these days! So beginning next month the Caption Contest will be in the capable hands of Jill Wenzel. I know she will enjoy this contest just as much as I have. Thank you everyone for your support and for the laughter. It has been a fun ride. I will be popping in every now and then to share as time allows. So don’t think I am gone completely. I look forward to your captions!

Creatively,

Cindy Cade
