Time for a change don't you agree? This is meant to be used as a light catcher and would look wonderful hanging from a car mirror! So tell me, what word would you put on the copper bar? Now, folks, it doesn't get any easier than this. Ü Send me your "word" and let's see if you get the stamp as well as the ornament!
Here are the particulars.
- Each month a new picture will be posted. You simply name the caption.
- The contest is open to members of our yahoo group only.
- SSReflections Crew members are excluded from the contest.
- You may enter as many times as you like. If duplicate captions are received, I will accept the first one that I received.
- All entries must be sent to our yahoo group (you can join here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SSReflectionsezine/ and carbon copied to me at: cindycade@ssreflections.com
- Entries must be received no later than the 15th of that month so we have time to conduct a poll.
- You MUST put "caption contest" in the subject line.
By playing, you are granting approval for your name to appear in the following months contest at SSReflections. I would also like to mention where you are from. I will contact you via your email addy to let you know you have won and to get your address for shipment of your prize. If for some reason I cannot reach you by your email address then it will be up to the winner to contact me with their information and I will confirm via the yahoo group mail.
I really loved the results from December's contest. Mother Rubber sent me such a lovely stamp to work with. Here are some of the captions given:
- "I know the manual says to use a sword, but I think she'd better practice with wood first...."
- "Please tell me she is nearly finished! "
- "We three stampers, are sharing a tune
In hopes you all have a great afternoon.
Now hopefully some creativity is in store
And that you will be making artwork galore.
But hope the joyful noise that we make
Won't cause your creativity to take a break.
Maybe "Silent Night" is the right song
To continue your artwork coming along.
Never the less, we just wanted to say,
Merry Christmas to all and have a great day. "
