Digi-Digital Gifts

Last month I showed you a sample of some of the gifts you can make on your computer. I decided to go through the old book and give you a list of what I found. If you are at all proficient in your digital software, you can probably duplicate these with only a small amount of instruction. I have included the instructions for those things I have pictured.

Here are the "Chapters" in my notebook of digital crafting.

1. Techniques in Print Artist (why am I even keeping this...it is antiquated).

2. Baggie-tags and other gifts-includes recipes for treats, drink-mixes, silly "poops", cocoas. Also includes Survival Kits, Bath Kits with recipes for the bath, candy bar covers, bookmarks and bookplates, and place cards.

3. Books and Booklets - phone books, albums, checkbook covers, credit card covers, date-book covers, and recipe books.

4. Boxes and Containers – minis, triangles, tubular, boxes for occasions and holidays, boxes with windows, ornaments, baskets and teabag tags.

5. Calendars – yearly, Advent, perpetual, and cube.

6. Cards and Envelopes –swap cards 4 to a page, announcements, invitations, pop-ups, wallets, cut-outs, out of wallpaper and digital photos, gift tags, mobile, and window.

7. Children – Arrivals, Invitations, memory book entries, recipes for play substances, puppets, charts, t-shirt transfers, and practice pages, party bracelets.

8. Clocks – different faces to replace plain ones on inexpensive clocks.

9. Cooking and Recipe Cards – shape cookbooks, blank cards.

10. Doorknob Hangers.

11. Labels and Inserts – for CDs, video cassettes (1998, remember).

12. Magnets – for dishwasher, refrigerator, photos, and poems.

13. Miscellaneous – decorations for various holidays, purse tissue cover, dollhouse wallpaper, ornaments and sun catchers, spice jar labels, awards, plastic mug inserts, luggage tags, soap wrapper, pill cap labels, table place cards, paper bag puppets, decorated desk set, wall hangings, teabag packets and tags, event tickets, computer disk envelopes, games, 35mm can covers (1998, again, remember), business cards and envelopes.

14. Pads – for shopping, notes, inspirations, Honey-Do lists, gifts.

15. Photos and pages – corners, frames, basic scrapbook pages, chain, album planners, stickers.

16. Signs – poems, prayers, inspirations, Welcome, bathroom, ABCs of x.

Here are a few I have updated to Photoshop, printed, and put together for the holidays this year.
