Hola! Spain...the beautiful beaches, the Flamenco music and dance, bull fighting, running of the bulls, siestas, and sunshine... this just touches the well known aspects of Spain! Spain has so much more to offer than this, and has for many thousands of years! Spain is one of the main cultural centers of Europe, with architecture, old monuments, beautiful cities and Spaniards! The different regions of Spain are all different from each other even the Spaniards say that Spain is Different! We actually have an inside track to Spain, our very own Ramie has just recently moved to Spain due to a company move! So, you'll learn a lot about this beautiful country in this special issue of S.S. Reflections!
I have big news this month too! We have finally launched our very own message board forum! You can find the Message Board listed in the menu on the left.
This issue is the first anniversary of it's inception! It was one year ago that we talked with Dee Gruenig about coming on board as our 1st Celebrity Headliner and we thought that the only person we could have for this special issue is Dee herself! So, our Celebrity Headliner this month is none other than Dee! We are all very honored to have Dee join us this month as this month is also the 25th anniversary for Posh Impressions! They are celebrating by having a 40% off special on their website and launching a brand new site on the 15th of September! We'll tell you more about this on our mid-month newsletter!
Our VIP Lounge guest this month is Sarah Heidt Photo Craft! Sarah has been apart of S.S. Reflections for quite a long time now and we are thrilled to have her join us in our VIP Lounge! I had the great privilege of meeting Sarah at ACCI! Sarah is one lady with some awesome ideas and plans. She has such an enormous amount of talent! Our crew has been using Sarah's products for months now giving you a little taste of all that she provides! Now, you'll meet the lady behind all those awesome products!!
Our Designer’s Challenge this month was sponsored by Sizzix! The crew received a pkg of Spanish themed dies and had to create any project with these limited dies! I just know you will LOVE what they have done! They have done such a beautiful job this month!! We also have a new designer on board who is writing the intro to the design challenge each month and she even provides extra designs using other products to show you how versatile they are! Please welcome Kathy Miller to our crew! You can also read more about the Sizzix in Ramie's Rec Room, and in Cindi's Poolside Playroom Cindi is also a new member of the crew! So please also welcome Cindi on board!!
We finally have a picture of Cindy wearing her new SSR t-shirt with the winning logo on the back in the Purser's Store! I'm sure you will agree that Cindy looks wonderful in this photo!! We really appreciate Cindy taking the time to model the new shirts for us so that I can share it with you! We now have a new printer and they are doing a fantastic job! The inks are bolder, and the image is simpler so it actually stands out better! If t-shirts aren't your thing, don't forget that we also have two different types of tote bags. Our sweatshirts are AWESOME! We are coming into the cooler months now and I can tell you that you'll love the warmth and softness of our sweatshirts!

We have quite a few new columns for you to read this month! We've created 2 brand new columns for specific product reviews. The first one is called The Showcase. The Showcase will be a special electronic product review, this will include, cameras, printers, scanners, etc. This month it is on the Epson Stylus PHOTO 1280. We also have The Stateroom which will focus on special product reviews written by our own designers! Ideally it will be on brand new products that we just couldn't wait to share with you! Cindy has written a wonderful review this month to launch this column on the Stewart Superior Pallette Inks! Also in our Editorial Deck will is Bill's feature this month on taking pictures of lines and curves and having them in your backgrounds. Tonya is teaching us how to create embossed and distressed papers in our advanced digital scrapping and Tara , is introducing us to layering in our digital layouts! Dyan is teaching us how to organize our fonts! I just LOVE organizing anything and my fonts are no exception! Now, I need to actually do it!! Dean is giving you step by step instructions on a cheap way to store your papers! Dean has been doing a fabulous job with these projects, please take a minute to thank him for all his hard work! Megan our teen scrapper has written a review on the Me, Etc line of papers designed for the younger scrapper!
Sharon our Librarian, has an awesome book review on CREATING WITH MAGIC SCRAPS NATURAL COMPOSITION that you won't want to miss, especially if you collect Idea Books!! And last but not least, Marlis works very hard to find answers for your questions. Please remember Marlis the next time you are wondering about something!
We have a brand new member on the stamping crew! Please join us in welcoming Lori Roberts to our crew! Lori has written about photo art stamps for her first feature with S.S. Reflections! ! Debi is teaching new stampers the art of heat embossing! Cindy, is playing with one of my favourite mediums... metal!! Cricket has done a special product review on the Stewart Superior Pigment Ink Pads and their Chalk Inkpads! Robin and Wendy have been using poetry and words in their altered books. Those two mediums just seem to go hand in hand to me! Elizabeth has created some of the most beautiful tiles I've ever seen! It's Purnima's turn in the Solarium this month and Purnima is featuring Spanish mica in her column this month! Suzanne has been playing with Lumieres!
Our Scrapping Crew has also been very busy. We have a brand new crewmember for the scrapping team too! Please help us welcome Cindi Bisson! Cindi is also a stamper as well as a scrapper and she loves the Sizzix!! So, Cindi has created her first feature on the stampers perspective of the Sizzix machine! Ramie is also featuring the Sizzix this month from the scrappers perspective! Yes, the Sizzix is our crossover feature for this month! Diana is doing a feature on premade kits! Diana just returned from CKU and has many ideas to share with us! Chrissy has created a gift album which links with our new Showroom feature using the Epson 1280 printer! Chrissy is doing a special boyscouts gift album!! Stacie is LUMPY in her feature this month!! Laura has done a special feature on the Stewart Superior Transfer Ink! Kelli is a huge Club Stamp fan and her feature reflects her love of this new monthly club from Club Scrap! Wanda is creating with clay this month!shows us how to alter CD's and use them on our pages! Marilyn is helping the new scrapper start their new craft with some organizational tips!
