As our 2006 cruise around the world comes to an end, we find ourselves in IRELAND as we head back towards home!Uncover and experience Ireland’s rich literature, traditional and heritage sites – sometimes we may not even have to leave the pub to take part! Ireland is famed the world over for its rich, literary traditions and vibrant traditional culture and now we get to see what all the fuss is about! We'll enjoy some Irish folk dancing, haunted castles, and of course...the pubs! We will enjoy the daily life rich in traditions and visit a Neolithic monument out in the countryside or find ourselves in the midst of an impromptu traditional music seisún all in the same day!
We will be surrounded by the Irish culture and heritage at every turn, but I encourage you to take the time to focus and you’ll find that there’s a whole lot happening from buzzing literary festivals, raucous ceělis and unbelievable heritage sites from crumbling castles to mystical monasteries – and all are definitely worth a look. Doesn't this just sound like we're going to have an awesome adventure in Ireland this month?
The goal of S.S. Reflections has always been to make the world just a little bit smaller and that you can enjoy visiting these beautiful countries virtually with us! I know several of you have written to me, but I'm clueless on some of these issues! Diana is our resident expert and I'm sure she can help you!

All you need to do is click on the thumbnail of your favorite design, and if it is for sale it will be listed at the bottom of the supply list. You can email the crewmember directly for information about purchasing the design featured! Shipping and handling are not included in the price of the design. Insurance is required on all sales. Our featured piece of art for sale this month was created by Debi Wind!! This is just one of the designs that Debi has for sale! Please be sure to read her feature and see all the gorgeous cards she has created!
Jill is back! She is feeling strong enough to come back and we couldn't be more relieved that he health is better and happy to have her back!! A great big thanks to Cindy Roland for all that she did to keep the caption contest rolling during Jill's absense!! Now, if you are anxiously awaiting the winning caption of the September contest...well, you'll have to either join the Ezine Yahoo! Group to find out or you will have to wait until mid-October! We will announce the winner Mid-October and share the new card for the October contest then. If you'd like to see the September card again...just look to the right!

Our Designer’s Challenge this month has been sponsored Heritage Handcrafts! News On Deck:
We have lots to tell you about this month! We have a new crewmember launching with us this month in our Altered Arts Deck and a special guest designer with a great idea to share with you! Please join us in welcoming Michaela Roekle to the SSR crew! Of course, it goes without saying how fabulous our designers are...but they have once again out done themselves with this months issue. Also, Robin, Ramie and Tricia are BACK! So, without further adieu...
Editorial Deck:
On our Editorial Deck this month we have a special guest designer with a fabulous project to share with you in the Stateroom. My dear friend Tracy Sundling created a great project for her home and we just couldn't wait to share it with you! You can see part of this project to the right! Last month we introduced a new column to you and this month we are introducing Linda of Linda's Poop Deck! Linda is representing SSR at Memory Trends this month and will be giving you all the "poop" in the industry!
Scrapping Deck:
Now on to the Scrapping Deck! Becky has created an excellent tutorial for you featuring Dimensional Paste (stencil paste). She even has step by step photos to help you!! Cindi has been finding unexpected embellishments for her pages!! Janet's tutorial this month is creating quick strips and borders! You don't have to spend days to create every layout! You could create these awesome quick strips for your future layouts too! Jill is stamping on her scrapbook pages by creating her own embellishments or enhancing what she has! The gorgeous design to the right was created by Jill! Marilyn's tutorial this month is teaching the fine art of paper tearing in creating mountains! Marilyn has some great tips to remember when purchasing your papers! Digital Deck:
On our Digital Deck this month, you will find some awesome ideas! Dyan's in bringing digital, stamping and scrapping altogether in her feature this month!! Dyan is a fabulous scrapper in case you didn't know that! If you don't believe me...take a look to the right! Ramie is using digital to scrap fast! With the birth of her son, she is finding it harder and harder to scrap these days! If you are in the same boat, you'll not want to miss Ramie's fabulous article!

Now on to the Stamping Art Deck! Debi's feature this month is a tutorial on using photo image stamps with fabulous samples that are all for sale! The card to the right was created by Debi to showcase these awesome powders! Judy's book review is Card Art: Create Treasured Greetings from Fabric & Paper by Susan S. Terry. Judy's review is informative and the designs she has created to showcase this book are just gorgeous! Check out the card to the right for proof! You will absolutely want to add this book to your collection! Next month we will have two new designers on the Stamping Deck! We are so excited to share their awesome art with you!! But, you'll have to wait just one more month...
Altered Arts Deck:
Now on to the Altered Arts Deck! Cindy is doing Disney for her gorgeous grandkids! They just returned from a trip to San Diego and of course Disney! For Michaela's first feature she has created some awesome Halloween gifts! Michaela will be incorporating her scrapping into Altered Arts and we are so excited to have this new feature on SSR! You can see one of Michaela's projects to the right! Robin has been creating in retro art funk!! I love her cell phone charms! I want one for my phone!! Although I think I would be better off with a D instead of an R don't you think? Sue has been having fun creating funky gifts! Her frames are just fabulous!!
Communications Deck:
Our Interactive Reader's Gallery! is not just for showcasing your scanned images, its also for your photos and your digital layouts! We want to see everything that you are proud of! So, come on in and share what you are most proud of! We all want to see! If you're feeling shy, that's okay...come and see what everyone else is doing! The photo gallery is so much fun and filled with fantastic designs...stamped art, digital layouts and scrapped layouts not to mention the photo gallery! You can upload all the designs that you want to share with us ANYTIME you'd like! We have an opportunity to make comments and talk about the products you used and the techniques! You'll want to definitely add this to your favorites and come back often! The awesome card featured to the right was created by Artlover!
Final Thoughts:
This year has brought lots of changes for me in my life and I want to take a moment to thank you for being a stable part of my life. Having SSR has been such a blessing because of the wonderful emails that you send encouraging me and sharing a little of your life with me. I'm so glad that SSR is as important to you as it is to me! So, make a cuppa and have a seat and enjoy a little peace and quiet and enjoy your favorite online magazine...S.S. Reflections! We've all worked so hard on this issue to make it just perfect for you. We are always honored by your choosing to come aboard SSR for all the fun we can offer! Remember to find the joy in each day.
