January 1, 2007 From the HelmCap'n Dawn Heath,Publisher ![]() David Lake took this picture in Prickly Bay, Grenada, The Caribbean, while writing the novel "Three of a Kind". HAPPY NEW YEAR!! WELCOME TO 2007!! I want to take this opportunity to wish every one of you many blessings as we begin this new year. The crew also joins me in wishing you the very best for 2007! We are starting the New Year off with a brand new cruise! We're visiting The Caribbean this month!! We'll warm ourselves up and start on our awesome tans! We'll plan for lots of day trips sailing on the beautiful waters off the various islands we visit, waterskiing, playing with the jet boats and maybe even parasailing!! Of course, we'll laze on the beaches allowing the cabana boys to wait on us, bringing our stamp pads and supplies as needed!! Let us enjoy this beautiful part of the world and bring our muse out to play! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We ate way too much, but I'm not complaining!! The food was fabulous, the time spent with family was wonderful and I feel that the boys and I were spoilt this season. Now I can concentrate on working off the excess weight I have gained!! My New Year's resolution this year is to organize my home and purge stuff that I no longer use. Ramie, our Managing Editor and I have vowed to help and encourage each other make these changes!! Anyone else want to join us? Now would be a great time to join our Yahoo! Ezine Group and we'll encourage each other. I also want to make time to create more this year. I really need a boost to do this. You may remember Cricket who used to be on our Stamping Deck Crew, well Cricket and I plan to get together at least once a month and create...now I need someone to come and make sure I get out of the house to do this!! The few times I met Cricket in 2006 were wonderful! Would anyone like to volunteer to nag me to do this? Nagging is good!! Well, I've shared my plans for 2007, now share with me YOUR plans! With the start of a new year we thought it was time to create a new logo! I hope you like the new look!! Be sure to let us know your thoughts! ![]() The goal of S.S. Reflections has always been to make the world just a little bit smaller and that you can enjoy (virtually) visiting as many parts of the World as we can! Please be sure to share your own inspirations with all of us and we have made this even easier for you with our brand new interactive Readers Photo Gallery! If you are having trouble uploading to the photo gallery please feel free to email Diana at dianascott@ssreflections.com as she is our officer in charge!
